Hello, short introduction Options

Hello everyone,

I'm Rommel. I'm Filipino living/working in Japan.
I signed up to the forum because I'll be visiting SG next month and I was looking at forums that discus the cycling scene in SG.

I am an overweight roadie! :-)
I usually go out on short weekend jaunts. 60-70km morning coffee run and/or ride with friends around the Imperial Palace's 5km course (5-6 laps). I am used to riding on the streets of Japan but drivers here tend to be on the careful specially when there is a cyclist nearby (though there is the occasional a$$hole).

I'll be visiting friends on my trip to SG.
Would love to bring my bike but I think I need to familiarize myself first with SG style riding first. So now I plan to rent a bike. Just bring my helmet, shoes and extra clipless pedals.

I hope people here can provide me locations/place where I can rent a good road bike or cross bike.
